Now sure of the name of the creek but we put in at Coffey's Cove Marina, went left up to the mouth of a creek by the campgrounds. This is where we saw so many.

Sweet! Yup, FisherMike is right, double the oil you mix in on that first tank of gas. Break it in like a new motor, vary the speed constantly for the first few hours on the motor.

Looks like the crappie bite is at it's peak. Some of my friends got 42 keepers yesterday and over 100 total. Just got my boat back from the repair shop, can't wait to get out there!

Looks like the white bass have started to run in the river. Friends of mine got 36 last evening!

Had to have my 25 horse Mercury outboard rebuilt this spring. Getting it back tomorrow to the tune of $1100. Oh well, at least it's near the peak of the crappie bite. Two of my buddies got 30 keepers...

That's the way I clean mine too. Just a little tip, when you cut down the backbone don't cut all the way through at the tail. Just flip the side over, start at the tail and fillet it off the skin....

Here's my 1995 Sylvan Classic Fisherman. I bought it new in '95 and paid $5000 for it. A great little boat. It's got a 25 horse Mercury motor.
