In the end I disconnected the AR for now and installed a HT100 drag with a new spring and washer so,all is good, I never use reverse to fight fish anyway.

I finally figured out the anti reverse on the Penn 4200ss

The4200ss was missing the drag and the,what I would say was the anti reverse switch,does not disengage to run backwards and is called an eccentric switch so I’m not sure about that but I don’t fight...
