I was using them as fixed float anything deeper...
I was using them as fixed float anything deeper than 5 ft or so I just fish without a float, slip bobbers are to complicated for me

Bobber Matters
2 poles setup exactly the same. 1 with thill stick float other with round bobber. Stick float out fished the round one 20 to 1. Changed to stick float and fishing equaled out. Guessing the waves...

Years ago as a young boy we fished with hook, bobber and a worm. Seemed to catch a lot of blue gill and crappie. I don’t see anyone commenting on using worms. Is that a thing of the past?
