there are 4 bushings and you need to set end play...
there are 4 bushings and you need to set end play to align pulleys , herters were kind of generous with tolerances ... but tightened up its great. I like the indexing and the anti rverse feature....

Splits in the hex pieces, also any real dark areas where water has gotten into. the splits can be fixed but its a pain the water or mold spots I shy away from...loose windings are easy enough to fix...
