Fished the spillway yesterday afternoon. There were so many people fishing and the water was coming out so fast it was really hard to baitfish. Everything I got on spit it before I could get it in....

Are you using the 7mm googley eyes? Thats the smallest they had at wally world. They look to be about the dia. of the 1/8 jig heads. I think I'll try em but they are bigger than I expected....

did ya catch any yet? I was out for a bit (jacomo) on sun and nobody was catching anything. My dad was out again today and nothing. :confused:

We fished from 5-8 as well and caught nothing. The guys we talked to that were leaving when we showed up gave us some minnows and told us they had caught 50 or so.

My dad and I crappie fished Jacomo all morning wed and couldnt catch anything. Is there any structure in the lake? We can't seem to find much. Is it legal to make crappie beds and put them out here?...
