Jeffro, I talked to some folks the other day ,,they where catching good # in 23 feet of water ..using black/char. jigs .. they added 2 split shots weights about 8 inches from the jig to help it sink...

i am still trying to get away ..to get up there ,,hoping to be there sometime Thursday night..... we used pink head white tail jigs 1/8 oz. and roadrunners white head white tail... but never leave...

crappie havent started bitting yet, i been checking ,but no reports from some guys who know the crappie ,, bass are good in 10-14 ft . of water ..along grass and moss lines,,,, Big Lou

Still no crappie on T=Bend , but the bass bite in deep water is still good. we cleaned a dozen and 2 nice channel cats we caught off the boat dock..

I fished T-Bend 2 weeks in a row lookin for crappie , I still havent found 1 , so you done better then me ,, we did catch bass though ,, so trip where not a total loss......... Big Lou

here in Texas we use the mesh sacks that butchers wrap hams in .. you may check your local meat market and see if you can buy some ... later Big Lou

I got a chance to fish New Years day, we caught 2 keeper Kentucky Bass , 30 yellow bass , 1 black bass.. we jigged spoons in 27 to 40 feet of water ,off the bottom..
but still no crappie,, not even...

t-bend still has good crappie fishing ..mid to late Feb, is as good as any lake ,
I have been hookin crappie the last 3 years on t-bend and i am hooked,,
I dont live on the lake but i aint far...
