There's a 90degree turn on them. Was that screwed, glued or milled from a solid piece?

Yes that is exactly what I'm referring to.

What brand of braid is your preference?

Just curious if these are generally considered as acceptable or something to be avoided? Eagle Claw is the brand that I'm familiar with.
