I tie a jig similar to your Goldie but it has a short yellow Kiptail and is tied on a sz8 Victory v-lock jighook. Absolutely wears out the gills!

Just remember, super glue will keep the front of your plastic tight to your jig head, but the back part still gets nipped and shredded.I would only do the minimum to hold the plastic on.

Biggest was 9.5" L 4.5" top to bottom.

Caught 25 on 5 different hand ties. Largest were 9". My buddy caught 16. No evidence of spawning here.
