I have decided to stay in the Johnson Creek area. Fishing Feb 3 - 7. We have 4 going, trying to add 2 more.
Looks like we should be prepared for windy, cold conditions.

Looks like the water temps up there may still be in the low 60's. I may catch some spawning action after all. Will be there this weekend.

When we get to Thursday, the weather should clear out and warm up. They should hit the banks hard and fast the next couple of weeks.

There are always 3+lbers start showing up in March every year. I would say that it starts getting good right now.
But if your talking about spawn, mid April should be about right.

We will be there June 11-17. Probably a little late for the pre-spawn or the spawn?
