My best crappie trip was in N.C. during a t-storm - the closer the storm got , the faster they seemed to bite - we wore 'em out , got soaked to the bone and damn near foze to death in 90 degree temps...

Had one with me but didn't even think about it.

Limited out today on shellcrackers and released about 40 of 'em - had to be patient for the bite tho , they are starting to spook real easy. Went to Ky Lake this past weekend and picked up some nice...

DrJohn , you made me feel guilty...i caught several more today including a few redears and i let every single one of them swim for another day...

No redears today , but the gills are on fire! Caught around 40 or so in two hours - all nice - but culled most of them - kept 6 jumbos for supper - 3 of each gender , hopefully tomorrow i can pound...

I can supply you with plenty of 5 gallon buckets...we go through a bunch of them at work - let me know how many you'll need.

10 more decent ones tonight , culled several but still no big females. Ain't caught a mayfly hatch bite skeet , but i bet it is a ton of fun.

a few years ago i caught an 18'' on priest near the dam - it was a post spawn fish and weighed just a little under 2 lbs.

Greetings to all ! After a much longer hiatus than anticipated i'm finally coming back to the greatest family on the web! Lots of catching up to do and updating the pc but it's good to be back.

Got out on the water with Ubang2 today...a bit windy but a great day to be out fishing instead of on the couch...came out with a dozen between the 2 of us including this pair Ubang2 caught.
