Think I caught 5 or 6 short fish in 5 hours of fishing this morning, something sure...

Kept 11 yesterday, spider rigging timber. Caught most fish 4 to 6 feet down over 15' of water, definitely related to timber. Going to dip some plastic tomorrow.

Was very slow for me too, but did pull 2-12" and a 13" off one tree.....not much after that.

Fairly clear around island, south side cleared up some today. Ended up catching fish in some pretty dirty water today, not a lot but had one go a little over 13".

Clinton was a rough go today, easterly wind, south side is muddy, and they are dropping the lake at a good clip......caught 5 total. Best part of trip was running into Bruce and shooting the breeze....

Sounds like longlining some jigs might work, my boat doesn't troll well so crankbaits aren't really an option.

Clinton is such a small watershed compared to the other reservoirs in the Kaw basin that the rainfall has to be right on the spot to get to the lake.
