The crappie bite is going to be at night near river channel. The bluegill,big ones, are on deep bluffs.

Nice catch! I'm coming out of retirement and going tomorrow.

Had a good night last week. Fished 14' in 30' under a light. Mud flat near the river channel. Used minnows that I seined, creeks are full of them right now. Had a total of 16 keepers, 2 of us, and...

Anybody went bull froggin?

Caught a bunch of drinks! Managed several larger females in the channels. Maybe some stable weather will get the bank fish going.

Anyone do any frog gigging around Kodak or Sevierville?

You can walk across the boats in Muddy Creek. Lots of small fish all over the lake. We pulled 4 keepers from 6 dozen minnows. April moon might help.

I have never heard an official record. I have seen an 18" fish about 8 years ago.

I didn't know until yesterday. He was a dandy and I will miss him greatly. Prayers to you and your family Ed.

Anyone know of a tent camping area on Watts Bar?

Picked up a few near Indian Creek. 20' or water and the fish are near the bottom. Quite a few boats up there.

Well its been since November of 2009 since I got hurt. 2 shoulder surgeries and a hand full of screws and plates later Im doing better, but Im dying to fish. I drive by the lake and walk by my boat...

Not a single bite. Surface temp at midnight was 89.6. Got to be there at daybreak and you may have 2 hours to fish. Good luck.

Going tonight and taking every rod that I own. Fishing from Flat Creek to 18 with banjo minnows tipped with Skoal Bandits! No...I am going but not covering that much water.

I have got a few at night on deep water bluffs.

Carp are biting corn in the river. :eek:

Caught a few off the main river channel over a rock pile. Fish were hugging the bottom in 30' of water, minnows under a light.

Nice mess of fish Doc! I went to lower end of the lake yesterday and couldn't find nothing but small ones...no bedders.

Rough night...east winds up 16 mph. Managed 8 keepers and a nice walleye. Fished minnows under a floating light...25 ' of water. Fish were 12' to 25' deep. Sorry...no pics.
