I am not an expert, but when I dropped down to 4lb test and fished arond docks in 12-20 feet of water or find submered brush my catch increased.

Fished with a friend yesterday morning we caught 40 fished 7:30 til 12. Most caught on minnows but I did catch quite a few on a small jigging spoon. Fish were hitting it on the way down.
