It is all cost and hassle for me. I have too many dollars allocated elsewhere. I dont want to spend the money on a boat, plus gas, plus maintenance. I miss the comfort and speed of a "real" fishing...

Thanks, I love it. If it could paddle with less effort it would be a more popular option i think. I just use the electric motor with paddle as a backup.

Yep, they are not cheap... $75. Signed and numbered by artist though. Only 250 prints released. I collect signed and numbered art like this and it is reasonable as those prices go though.

After all the discussion in this thread, i tried giving DI some more attention today after mainly using 2D so far this year. I used the 85% contrast mentioned here, on my garmin striker 7sv, and...

It is mainly inexperience and no patience to learn on my part. I see all kinds of dots on DI at times...some go away depending on settings and frequency. I dont know which ones are fish right now....

I will have to try that contrast setting on my garmin. I bought my sonar all excited about DI and side imaging, but now use 2D 95% of the time. Do love side imaging to see bluegill spawning though....
