I have a 2003 40 horse mercury. It has started running like crap. I noticed on the left side of carb (if facing motor crib the back) that at the top there's a set screw of some sort. Right beside it...

Sounds like a big nightmare there brother. I have 1 that was updated and had similar problems with. I had to take update out and all was fine. Are all units doing same thing?

If I was you I'd get at least a 7 inch. It's hard to see Si on a 5. I have lowerance hds 5 and it gets aggravating looking at the small screen trying to figure out what is what. Just my 2 cents
