you will be in driving distance to alot of crappie fishin,Chatuge is good but If you want bigger fish there are some good lakes in SC and Ga.!

I see your heading to SC...just keep in mind that I40 is closed in NC....but all you have to do is get on 25-70 in newport and it will put you onto I26 in Weaverville NC....Just in case you didnt...
