Try fishing any structure (laydown trees / rocks ) you can find out of the main river channel.. backwater areas are preferred. You can do real good IF the conditions are favorable on water...

I heard they are eating it up down there. In creek channel under the bridge.

The open water on the east end if fairly shallow 4ft-5ft and no cover, I guess they bulldozed it into a flat when they made the lake. Never did any good there.. apparently the deep water in the...

Went to gold creek today and there were 12 boats in the "pool" area alone, and the fish didn't seem to be biting much. At least I got some nice bait from Danogoldcreek to save up for next trip. ...

Moss and weeds were pretty thick going back left from the boat ramp at CC. Also, the water is very clear. I gave up and tried the other end of the lake, but no luck. :(

Yeah BW, I pretty much struck out. Couple of drum, and a couple of nice green carp. May change my name to WhiteCap, since everytime I go there is at least a 15mph wind right in my face.:(

caught him about 8ft deep. Guess they had to go deep to get below the 3ft swells on Friday. :D

Caught this nice one 2lb 5oz at Cane Creek today during the hurricane. Unfortunately this is the only bite I had. Conditions were miserable with about a 10 to 20mph wind.
