Thanks everyone for your input, I hope I can come down before the weekend to try and catch some gills. Fishing around sled creek ramp bays is the only place I know where to fish for gills.. Thanks...

Had 2 stents and on third try to put in a stent dr. would not punch through the clog so had 4 bypass the next day, the dr said the road to recovery was to walk. The day i got home i was out in yard...

Most were caught about 5-7ft deep up in coves.

caught 86 nice blue gills monday and could have caught twice that many since we left at 4:30 in the afternoon even tho they were still biting good.

Had real good luck on good size blue gill as i brought home 81 of them but only caught one redear. I guess the place i choose to go to wasn't good place for redear or it may have been just me trying...

Anyone willing to tell me where and how to fish for redears. I have never gone to ky lake to fish for redears but would love to try it.
