Get yourself a 6.5 to 7 foot light or med light spinning rod paired with decent spinning reel. Makes casting small jigs, jig/float, minnow/float very easy. Also use light line, 2-6 pound test

I fish TN river and while I'm not anywhere close to a lot of the fishermen on here, I find spawn in the creeks around cover.

I have always had best success with bobby garland minnow mind’r cicada. Black/chartreuse fleck tail. Still my go to jig

Went yesterday in TN river, it is still fairly muddy where I was and I had most success with pink marabou/white head but did catch a few shorts on Mr Crappie Slab Slanger hot chicken(pink/chartreuse...

Fished the arkie you have pictured Saturday on TN river. Only caught 3 crappie, two 10 inch and one 12 but the white bass absolutely loved them.

Was fishing creeks off TN river yesterday and the high water definitely altered the bite.

Lot of fish on TN river still have eggs as well. My understanding is that they spawn at different times over several weeks so the ones with eggs my not have spawned yet

Just did this on my '13 F150. Everything worked but running lights. Fuse under hood was blown. 20 amp that they call a trailer light relay in owners manual even though it's a fuse.

Fished shallow with cork and minnows. Deepest was three feet. Not limit but decent fish. Been catching lots of nine inch fish this year and this is first day that did not catch any small fish....

Haven't fished those yet this year. Been up around Lick and Ricketts mostly. Been windy every time I've been lately.

1964 PolarKraft 1436 with 15 Johnson. Floored her, added short front deck and troller. Plus changed handle when I changed starter rope, sure is easier.

Caught lots of shorts with biggest being 9.5 inches. Had great day but would have been better with some keepers.

Fished yesterday and caught a few. Two keepers around 12 inches but lots of dinks using minnows in 6 FOW. Bite stopped bout 10:30. Will try next Friday.
