Caught him out of the Aucilla River around the flats in the mouth of a creek. Him and 5 others, 2large Reds,3 Spanish Mackeral,1 Black Drum and a lots of salt water cat (throwbacks). Ate them all...

Grandson and I fished Fort Gaines yesterday. Brought home 28 hybrids, 4 crappie, threw back 21 Largemouth. Only fished for crappie for about 1 hour. Going again tomorrow.

We fished Fort Gaines this morning. Caught one 4lb stripper, had to stop because of the temp. and wind. Water was not that muddy, and the water temp was 51 degrees.

Just rig your line with a jig and minnow, put a couple of small weights about a foot above,fish as close to the bottom as possible,about 1 mph. Harry

Try trolling with minnows and jigs in the river channel on each side of the entrance to Jack Wingates Lodge, you may pick up a few Crappie. Harry

How many did you catch? We were there Thursday and only caught one from 7:30 to 1:30. Fished the channels and everywhere.
