Not sure about larger lakes like Monroe, Cataract, or Patoka. -

Fished 7 to noon today. Kept 10. 2 12s, 2 11s, rest 10 to 10 1/2.
Caught the better ones in 12 to 13 feet. Many throwbacks.
5 boats when I got there, about 25 when I left. Water temp almost 70. -

Fished 9 to 2 in Pine Grove area. Thought they'd be in flooded brush
But couldn't find them. Caught 4 11 to 12 inch keepers in lay down by creek channel.
Caught about 20 more throwbacks.

Cataract
Fished about 4 hours yesterday morning. Had 1 10 inch 1 11 inch 1 12inch and 3 9 inch. Probably 10 or 12 smaller fish.
Better fish were near bottom in 14 to 16 feet.
Surprised there weren't... -

Thanks to both of you for your help. I know here in Indiana a thermocline develops and not any use fishing deeper than where the oxygen levels deplete. Sounds very similar for your area. Not done...

I think that (low water)was when the lake was lowered for work at the dam. Lake level as of Friday was about a foot and a half above winter pool. Don't know about the ice as I live south of...

If you go to Dogwood there is a 10 HP limit.
Was at Boggs Saturday, still very muddy, very windy, caught 5 crappie but only 2 were "keepers" barely--1 9inch, 1 10 inch. Also one very small gill....
