Got on em as soon as we hit the water friday. They hit anything as long as it was 5-10' deep in 15' of water. My biggest was right at 2lbs. Rmded up with 45 keepers but probably threw more than that...

I think that blacks spawn at 68 degrees and whites at 72. So If you are seeing whites that are about to pop, the blacks have already come and gone.

I carry an old 9mm S&W with rat shot when I'm at the camp. Only because I don't want to shoot rat shot out of any of my 1911's

I always tie my hooks about 1' above the sinker on my noodle lines. I don't want my bait sitting in the mud on the bottom. Just my preference

I clean fish on Sunday if I'm at the camp. So 2-3 days on ice. Its one of the last things I do before I shut it down.
