The new agreement does help. In comparison, Catawba below Lake Wylie has no flow, riverbed exposed at many locations.

Do you mean Shad is up at Cheraw now? Water is flowing in Pee Dee river from Blewett to Society Hill, not high though. Maybe due to new agreement during re-licensing?

I read that the river below W Kerr Scott dam is good for largemouth, smallmouth, trout and bream. I guess it has crappie as well.

If you have boat, W Kerr Scott should be good enough. Without boat, any lake is challenging.
