Went out there in the fog. Was able to catch a few using shiners and jigs. Had a blast! Ended up with 25.

On the dash is a HDS 7 Carbon with the total scan transducer. I'm learning to use it. Been doing alot of reading about it. Thank you all for the nice comments.

What is ya'lls preference? Do you pull the cork fast, slow or barely move it? I've seen folks do long pulls then Ive seen them to slow. I've also seen people move the cork so much the jig hardly ever...

Was a slow bite where I was. Spoke to a few others who did better. Only 11 fish but had fun!! Saw lots of trees with fish eggs on them, not sure if they are sac-au-lait eggs.

from Maringouin Bayou. Caught 21 but the lighting chased us away. Also made a video but its crooked a bit.

Anyone ever had any luck there? There's Fred's boat launch about 15 mins from my house. I just have heard you can't catch much but I admit I haven't tried. Any advice for going?

Went on Sunday. Caught over 20 fish and had 10 keepers. I caught them mostly on the Grey Ghost jig.

So sorry jared, I just saw the post. Try the south area along the levee. You'll see tons of boats out there. Shiners and berkely power minnow is what I used.

Caught over 30 fish. 14 keepers. Also made a video.
