I have two lights like rango has above and I clamp them to a pvc "T" pole.
I secure the pole to the grab rail on my console with velcro straps. That works pretty good for me.

You just have to do like rango and the rest of us, carry more batteries. When we hook up all our chargers the meter really speeds up.:D
