I haven't fished Choke in a while. Never have too much luck for crappie except during spawn. What part of the lake were you fishing and how deep were they?

Actually, the spot I have been fishing lately is 3/4 mile before you get to Sawmill.

Didn't see them. We got off the water around midnight.

Next time we are going to try some different spots.

I am very sorry for your loss.

My experience is when it gets hot they will die. Especially when the slime builds up. I live in Texas and have several stock tanks I put minnows in. Winter is ok but summer is the end of it.
