ok so i just got my catalp/black stripe and yellow/black stripe beetle spins in the mail today from bass pro and they are 1/16 ounce..but they are still a little big for the bluegill here i think so...

living down here ..ive never had the chance to fish on a lake with muskey, pike, gar......etc..

all we have on the local lakes..are Bass....(casitas and castaic are well known for world record...

my dad just scales them, cuts the head off, cleans the guts out..and cooks each side ten minutes in the fryer...its pretty low class.but it sure is yummy with some tarter sause or lemon juice
