A lot of people I know who fish those dams use the same tactics and baits that they use in the saltwater, these are the same fish.

i fish in conneticut and we use the Howie Fly (Bass Pro 11-249-401) and troll it and have great luck. I have never tried it in the fresh water though. I have been meaning to. Good Luck

Try using Old Roy brand, it is one of the cheapest, plus it is so dry that it takes for ever to break up, also hold on because I have caught 6-8lb catfish doing this. GOOD LUCK
