If it's the GPS antennae that came with the 998 that's bad and causing the speed problem, replacing it with the Heading Sensor antennae will fix that. The HS sensor will also cure the donut issue...

A Max setting on Swithfire will do that. Especially with an elevated Sensitivity setting. I hardly ever use Max. About 95% of the time I'm using Clear and my home lake is a very deep gin clear lake....

For 83 or 83/200, just switch over to Dual Beam...
For 83 or 83/200, just switch over to Dual Beam and you're good. Or, you can upgrade your software to 7.09 which seems to have improved the 83 frequency compared to other releases after 6.49.

Would have like to have seen an 83 only 2D image. But, the 83/200 2D is improved in my opinion over 6.74 and other versions above 6.49. By that I mean I don't see "pixelation" in the 83/200 image....
