we dipped naturals , charts , blue, white and color combos too...

to say them local fellas was VERY right would be the right guess....
it was past pitiful about a million miles , never seen so many wandering fish in one spot .....

bro if you ever seen how many hogs in this part of the world there are , you would realize quickly you cannot put a dent in them , you can kill every one of them in a large area and in a week or 3...

looking pretty darn good for a spot to ketch some fish to me , bet there are some solid fish under that dam , likely a really good place to ketch catfish is my bet . :highfive

I highly recommend a stiff pup from the bank , whippy rods and softer backbones are not the best for casts and hooksets, 7 is probably my favorite length off the bank , but some 8 footers are good...

after that many casts I start changing things up ,presentation speeds and movements first, depth is next, then size and color, I will also broaden the fan casts if I am targeting a not so specific...

very close to the same fish, but not , interesting , same spawn parents is my bet , for sure directly related no doubt

we got one of them types here as well , upper end turns into caramel soup a few days before the lower end . we sometimes do better on the lower end in that situation as well .....:highfive

I hate braid , lost many a fish and jig using that stuff , go with some quality good mono , problem solved
