Well got the ducer epoxyed today , full cure is around 12 hours ill just have to wait till tomorrow to see if its hard. Made shure I stirred it slowly while mixing to avoid air bubbles the applied...

on my old 550 I had to adjust the keel offset to get the depth from the ducer to the bottom now with the 596 is it automatic or do I have to make adjustments? cuz I really don't see an offset.

going out this morning to try out my ducer. I just puttied it to the hull....now do I need to submerge it with water while i'm out there to get a signal or shoot thru a dry hull?

i'm trying to put the putty on the side of the ducer then try and stick it to the hull for a trial run. i don't have much room in the bilage area so i have to keep it in the same spot as the last...
