You can take some side cutters and squeeze steady right behind the ball head till you feel the resistance of the hook. Turn the jig slightly and do it again. Repeat till stem is loose from head. Then...

they are called Love Bugs....their body juice is very acidic and will eat the chrome away if not washed off right away....
