I have the solid tracks on my boat and I have never had one pole effect another pole. I hated the t-bar holders for that reason. Mine work perfect and a lot less holes in the deck.

I think it makes no sense to have to mark your poles that you are fishing with, troutlines
/limb lines/ jug lines yes I agree. I am not going to leave my boat in the lake with my poles in the water...

All depends where you fish,if you get down south where you catch a lot of biggins you need a good drag.spinning reels for me work the best,they have a better drag than those little baitcasters....
