Boat launch has been producing good crappies for me. The crappies usually bite actively after 6pm till closing. But you are right about one thing. crappie season seem to be over. its slow everywhere....

I went there a few times last week and caught my limit there. They were nice size ones and most of them were in the 2 lbs. I will soon start to take pictures of my catches.
