I'm new to braid. See people saying fluro is a must due to line shyness and others saying crappie aren't line shy tie your jigs straight to your braid. LOL

I back with some mono so the braid doesn't spin. Not sure why you would need 30# braid unless its for a flipping rod and your pulling out of heavy cover.
