I fish Gunterville mostly and wanted some other opinions on the spawn this year. I never really caught them shallow with colored up males this Spring. Did I sleep through the spawn on Guntersville...

How much did they draw it down? I can only find 1 article that said 20 feet.

Fished the past couple of days and it was ugly. We only managed a couple of fish each day after getting beaten up by wind and very cool temps. Does this sound familiar?

With all the rain, the Big G creeks are looking slightly muddy. There is a lot of floating debris, including large logs. Be careful if you brave going out in it. Fishing was very slow for me...

Pulled cranks this morning in a creek midlake (Gunterville). Caught 2 green carp, 6 yellow stripe, 2 channel cats and a drum. Not what I was hoping.

I do know that I’m not good at this, but dang, zero crappie. [emoji24]. I got blown around at South Sauty and moved to Town Creek. I fished within sight of “Gene” for about an hour and neither of us...

So last weekend I pick up my Ipilot remote and the battery cover was missing. I’m on the water and helpless to troll. I ordered 3 and 3 of the orings and had them fedex to me so I will have spares....
