Ive been so busy i havent gotten the boat out in a while.

Monday i felt like i hit 300 short fish. Every cast. A lot of doubles. Most were 8.75 or smaller. I think 5 keeper crappie and one white bass.

They were really aggressive monday. Yesterday...

Fished on the banks under the bridge. Hooked into crappie but no real size. Ended up getting 3 keeper crappie then a crazy eyed crappie hit.

21 maybe 22" didnt want to put it on the counter so...

My buddy told me its down about 5 or 6 ft since last week.

I still havent taken my boat there this year yet. Just fishing the banks.

Never figured this lake out. I guess going once a twice a year only doesn't help :)

Ive been fishing under the bridge there from time to time because i get off work too late to go home grab the boat and come back.

Ive had boaters see me catch fish. Move in to where im casting...

Fishing. One day you can't do anything wrong. Then another day where you can't do anything right. Sure can make you frustrated quick.

I see bluegills do the same thing around here. Havent seen crappie hit jigs though

Whites are a lot of action if you run into schools of them. That 15 limit can be filled very quick though

Hm. I hate setting my rods and reels on the rocks. Maybe some rod holders? Just a suggestion :)

I think most of us just want to feel that thump. Well any thump except for drum and gar :)

Congrats on the catch. I only started fishing about 4 years ago. Saw crappie.com maybe 2 or so years ago. Only thing i regret is not finding it sooner.

I also release a ton of fish. Or I keep keepers and give them to guys next to or around me that arent doing so hot that day.

Thanks guys. I couldnt believe it when I was pulling it up. Felt a tap (very light) and the line just felt heavy. Almost like you got hung up but then it started swimming.

Marina bank fishing. Found this lil 17 1/8" crappie.

Funny thing is I caught my 19" crappie there about 3 or 4 years ago.

The double 1/8th was a similar pattern I used about a month ago when I went. They seem to be deep.
