My '86 Merc 90 hp had the stator fail. I could only run just above idle. This happened 20 miles from ramp. If i tried to go to WOT the motor would increase rpm's but fall back to idle right away. ...

Sorry about that, looked at crancking amps. AH = 115 each battery so 230 /36 = 6.4 hrs at half max speed. Boat can hold 500 lbs batterys. It would be a nice boat though.
