Mt man I target this fish from time to time ,in NC & Va. they come in a XL 18 to 20 inchs , with average 12 to 14 in.
and a good day of trolling 20 fish +with 15 throw backs . cranks...

Well about the time the water will clear a little the rain should come back Monday , have a good time if you go again !
There is a lot of water in the Dan river , up 6 ft in Eden .

Will we ever know ? With all the rain any thing could get in the water in the Yatkin river .

21 , there is a slip- cork rig that I think works very well from the bank . I also use it from a boat , it has a stop that will
go into the reel and a bead that stops it at the given depth...

629 I use lights , and there is one that is made to put down in the water . I like 8 ft. down I fish minO's just below that ?

Va man , let us know how it works for you . I have use it trolling , the 10lbs worked OK . The smaller mono did
better ? Like 6lbs trolling side by side . mono & fireline . JMHO.

I think I will stick to crappie and walleye , bass and cats .
