I always go in and rename mine in stead of numbers. Such as S for stump or B for brush and SK for stakebed. And if I catch good fish on them, I will usually put Good or best in the name somewhere.

I use Tite-lok's and I put insulation around them because like was said eariler, you can put extra jigs and hooks on them if you break one off and you dont have to keep getting into your tackle box....

The best thing you can do is buy some ready made Capps and Coleman rigs from Grizzly Jig and they will be right for fishing straight out of the box.

Yep I research other products all the time too and there are other holders that catch my eye in many ways. You want something that best fits fit your boat and your needs as for as what you want...

Just remember somithing, its not all about the rod holders. What matters is what you do with them after you get them in the holders. My partner and I have been fishing Tite-Loks for almost 20 yrs....

I use the BGJP 14ft model BnM rods and am very pleased with them. Some say they are too limber but that is what I like about them.
