Does anyone have any thoughts on using a 1/0 circle hook for night fishing?

Fished in Eagle Creek water depth 45 feet fished 14 t0 18 feet. It was the Gar that were hard to keep off the hook.

Fished Dale Hollow last night with my 83 year old dad and a uncle kept 36 crappie, 1-17" walleye all on minnows. Most crappie were in the 11-13 inch range with a couple 14 inchers.

Went to Center Hill on Thursday fought the wind and the wind won. Fished with jigs around tops with no luck. Taking a bucket of minnows on next trip to the Hill.

Went to Dale Hollow yesterday used minnows didn't catch a fish water dingy with a lot of floating wood. Water still cold. Did see a flock of turkey must have been 75 of them.
