if you don't want to damage wire, trolling motor etc. put a inline fuse or breaker that will trip if you pull more amperes than the wire is designed for.( need to find out what wire gage is to match...

little Niangua or above the 65 mile marker up the river around deer or turkey creek. Safest is little niangua if you don't know the lake.

I would think that you would want to match the gage of the wire on the trolling motor. It's more about the amps. than the voltage.

I forgot to mention that I have this charger in a 20.5 ft.bass boat. I fish alot of tourneys and have to have something dependable. only charger I have ever owned.
