I cleaned about 40 fish yesterday and found Black and white feemales still with eggs. Mostly males made up the catch though.

If I'm casting or jigging I use 4-6# only use the heavy stuff for slow trolling

Does it work for you with jigs too

BTW the mr. crappie stuff tends to bleach out I was using it but it kept fading on me

I've been slow trollin with 20# stren hi vis. love it, you can really see the lite bites. 20# would be to heavy im sure in clearer water, but it doesnt seen to hurt me on Reelfoot

I never have seen them in line like that, The one Cracker got is more common. (to me) Thats is a sharp shot you got all swarmed on that stump.

I took these side images on Monday. This is the biggest school of bait fish I have ever seen. At least that is what it looks like to me.

Folks were catching fish all over today. Some up as shallow as 8' from what I could see. I did ok in about 12-14" suspendid a little. Got pretty crowded around swan basin by the time I left.

Weather channel is showing N at 5-7 mph I'll probably try it. Let ya know how it went

Keeping the water off is the key, over night won't matter either way
