1/2 pound is close for average appetite.that's usually plenty,with a few sides.unless you have people like me,who pass on most sides just try to make room for a pound or so of fish:D ;)

i've done that more than once,and in my own experience,have never had a problem with them if they were iced after catching.but that should be considered as just my experience,and not a proffesional...

bake,broil,fry.just about any way you'd cook other fish.the key is prep,as mentined.put on ice immediately after catching.cut out the red meat,soak in milk for a couple hours,orovernight in saltwater...

it can be done fairly easily.the arbor would be simple,and all you need is the right tension coming off the spool and a guide rigged,to properly lay the line on the reel spool.
