Gonna be making condo`s for water 6` deep when the crappie use them. The water rises higher than that after the spring run , but I need some shallow water ideas.

Wrap the body in thread, same color or contrasting color then put glue on it.

Glitter glue, can be found at hobby stores & wal-mart

48 crappie in the boat, 18 keepers. Good day even with the high winds.

Fatboy, Baditude and I are fishing on Priest tomorrow, I will let you know how we do.

I caught 25 today between 10 am and 2pm and 16 measured over 10" and I put in at Jefferson`s Springs and went down lake. Tube jig in various colors did the trick for me.

Good to hear. Baditude and I are thinking of fishing Normandy on Saturday.

The keepers I cleaned Saturday had no eggs at all. The females must be moving up.

Caught 17 today with 6 keepers. Some fish came off stakebeds all keepers were caught with the boat sitting in 16' casting to brush on the bank. Also, had 3 fish that were 9 7/8" so I threw them back....

Went today (Sunday) and the fish just weren`t cooperating. Anybody else give it a try and how did you do?

I was thinking about fishing tomorrow but I don`t know how dirty the water is up in the upper end.

Can anyone go this Saturday or should we try to reschedule?

Baditude and I met up today and fished for 4 hours and this is 4 of the 12 I caught. It was cold when the wind blew but it was worth it.

Jaycee is right. I say we take this Saturday get together and make the brush or cut the cane and sink it in a week or 2 from now. Wind chill will be in the teens and water will freeze on the deck in...

I voted for new spots but its not a bad idea to improve what we did last year.

I`m in and I have a source of cane in Beech Grove if we need it.

Last year we did it the weekend after the Super Bowl on Percy Priest.
