I like to find the areas with the type of cover that I want to fish (or were the fish want to be) preferable in bays or coves, I will position my back to the wind and let the wind carry my jig/bait....

Those are somenice perch, I wish we had somewhere close to catch perch like that here. We have erie but its about an hour and a half from me. Well done those are some brutes!

first i under stand what you are talking about, second I didnt claim to be an expert. All I was saying there is a possiblility of it have some of the genes from a crossbred blue PIKE (not walleye)...

correct, but the article said that all of the supplimnetal stocking come from lake erie, lake erie was the blue pike capital of the world up until the 50's i have seen photos of huge halls of blue...
