Slabseekers work! Just set the depth you are catching them at and reel them in. When you release the bail the bait will drop down to the same depth. Pretty cool! The slabseeker rods are another story...

I picked up some jigs while at KY Lake thsi weekend called Umbrella Jigs. They are supposed to fall 20% slower than conventional tubes. Also switching to 1/32 oz head will slow the rate of descent.

I went this afternoon and struck out. The water is warm 62-62 degrees but no fish. Fished Cooks Creek/Peter Creek. I'm going to try again tomorrow afternoon. I'll keep you posted.
