Make sure what ever you build does not have square corners they will swim themselves to death needs to have some kind of rounding in corners .... been keeping them for years here find and old kiddy...

That Johnson should be turning between 5300 - 5500 sounds like you need 15pitch you move 200 rpm for every 2 pitch drop

I like to use the minnows under a bobber and to tip the jigs while spider rigging. SO with this in mind I acquired a large tank like the bait stores have and got it rigged with aquarium bubblers...
