I am from north of Chicago and would like to catch some of the big slabs in Tennessee.

I have been to Reelfoot Lake a coulple of times in the late 90's or maybe early 2000.

I guess I am the unlucky one. To get to a good fishing hole
I would have to drive to you about 500 miles.
To catch small crappie 7 to 10 in I have to drive
25 mile.

it depends if it is a private lake.. I have a couple private lakes I
fish in that you don't need a license to fish..

I bought the pole. I had gift cards to Bas Pro Shop
When I got there they didn't have any BnM poles
so I went with a Wally Marshal IM6 grafite series
pole(10ft)..Man is it light..

I was just wonderig how many hooks per line are you
allowed..We are only allowed 2 per line..

I think it comes down to this..

1. How well does the guy take care of his property??

2. How good a friend is he. Most of my fishing buddy's
would have paid..

To get crappie(8 to 10 inches) I have to go 6 to 20 miles..If I want
to get a real crappie I have to come to your place
500 miles..When you going to be home. I might have
to make a pit stop...

I use the pencil floats too but with no weight but the jig(1/32)
so the float lays flat.
When the crappie hit the float stands on end and he
has the hook in his mouth. You do not have to wait...

I believe the more rods yoou have the more you need..
I am a bowling fanitic also and I have move bowling balls
than fishing poles..As long as you can afford to but them
then you never have...

I have 3 for catfishing
1 for lake Michigan
2 5ft untra light
1 9 ft crappie
1 10ft crappie
2 telescopie 13 and 20ft
2 mediun 7ft for Walleye or bass(Utility poles)

I had more but every year...

I usually fish early mornings and no nights
so my favorite is drift the small lake with
bobber until I find them. I love to use my
13 and 20 ft telescopic poles...
