After chasing crappies around and hooking up with some line ripping fish I brought out some beefed up tackle and hooked up with several fish 5-10lbs and then landed this 29 3/4 inch 14lb 3oz Hybrid....

Went Sat & Sun and limited out both days. Caught lots of fish shallow around brush, weed lines, and dead trees. I only kept 12"+. Out of the fish I cleaned only 1 had eggs and only 1 had a sperm sac.

I went Tuesday afternoon for a few hours and only brought home 10 good sized fish. I caught several smaller males and way too many yellow bass. I'll be back out tomorrow and Sunday.

Evergreen yesterday- water is clearing up and I had another great day on the lake. Caught my limit after being on the water about 2 hours. Fish are shallow 2-4 FOW. Love this time of year!

I'm not going to try and argue or discredit you but Algae blooms do not occur until water temps reach 25* C (77*F). The current temps at Evergreen are still a good 15*F colder on Tuesday at 60-62*F.

I was on Evergreen last Sunday and the temps were 50-51. Water is very stained and there's lot of it. I was able to catch a few in 12-15' but it wasn't a great bite. I'm hoping a week for the water...

Maybe some "birdfeet" can bring you some channel cats. I would also say to throw in some flattys while your at it. They will eat more live fish than channels will and will help clean up that hole.
